SQL/R - Report Generator for Eloquence
The SQL/R Report Generator is an extension to Eloquence which makes it easy to create even complex reports on the fly. Your data is a valuable resource for your business. It is important, that all relevant information about your business is available transparently and up-to-date. Often there are specific needs for information by individual users.

While it's almost impossible to develop programs to fulfill all needs, it's often either impossible or too slow to use Query. SQL/R provides a fast and convinient solution to cover all requests on information.

Below is a short description of SQL/R functionality
• Query language related to SQL standard
• Simulataneous access to multiple databases (including sort)
• No locking during database access
• Fast database access
• Read only access -- it will never change your data
• Virtual tables (create view)
• Calculated items
• Searching for and sorting on all kind of items
• Support of index items for query optimizon
• Searching with wildcards
• Output to Screen, Printer, ASCII file or DIF file
• Support of format definition files
• Easy integration into Eloquence by providing an Eloquence DLL. (requires Eloquence release A.04.00 or above)
• SQL/R editor und documentation available in german and english language

Prerequisites
• HP 9000 (PA-RISC or Itanium2), Linux or Windows NT/2000/XP
• HP-UX Release 10.20 or later
• ELOQUENCE Version A.03.10 or later
• Approx. 10 MB available memory in the /opt file system

Product material
• CD-ROM media or DDS tape containing SQL/R software (please specify).
• Documentation in English or German (please specify).

An evaluation copy of SQL/R is available which is usable for one month. The SQL/R software is available for download or you can order an evaluation copy which includes product material at a nominal charge.

Maintenance contract
Out maintenance contract for SQL/R grants you free access to our hotline and covers adaption to new operating system releases along with bug fixes.
