Eloquence B.08.10 update ------------------------ This directory holds a release candidate of the Eloquence B.08.10 update 1. Eloquence B.08.10 was initially released in July 2010. This B.08.10 update adds support for the Windows platform. For the HP-UX and Linux platform it includes some minor improvements and fixes completed after the initial B.08.10 release. The B.08.10 update provides the changes compared to the the original B.08.10 release. - Support for the Windows platform - Supported Windows versions: XP, Server 2003, Vista, Server 2008, 7 - Please refer to the INSTALL-WIN.txt file for details on installing Eloquence B.08.10 on the Windows platform. - 32-bit and 64-bit Windows versions are supported. Selected Eloquence components are installed both as 32-bit and 64-bit binaries, such as the database server and the client libraries. On 64-bit Windows the installation program allows to choose between activating the 32-bit or the 64-bit database server. - Previous Eloquence B.08.00 version may coexist with Eloquence B.08.10 on the same system. - Please note that the runsrv32/dlgsrv32 and also the dlgsrv32.dev components are no longer included as of B.08.10 but will be available as a separate download shortly. - Database changes - Improved database server HTTP status - Added filter support to the HTTP status - Changed dbkeyupdate function to allow deleting data encryption keys from a database not using encryption - Language - Fixed a limitation in the decompiler ("LIST") that caused a problem with array member variables passed to a SUB/FN - Improved DLL interoperability with 32 and 64 bit Eloquence DLLs. The new eloqcore can now use 32 and 64 bit Eloquence DLLs that are linked against the most recent libeqdll library.
