Please read before installing SQL/R A.03

The SQL/R A.03 server requires a license key revision A.03.00 or newer. A license key revision A.02.xx should be upgraded before installing the SQL/R A.03 server, or the SQL/R A.02 version should be used (available below).

To upgrade an existing SQL/R A.02.xx version to SQL/R A.03, it is recommended to first upgrade the server system before executing an ODBC driver upgrade on the associated client systems. Otherwise, connection problems may result because the SQL/R A.03 ODBC driver by default uses a new network protocol.

To install the ODBC driver on a client system in a network where the SQL/R A.02 server is present, either the server should first be upgraded to SQL/R A.03, or the SQL/R A.02 ODBC driver should be used (available below).
